Solidarity with the #PhD students protesting this morning in #Dublin: like one of their signs said, the living wage is €13.85, the minimum wage is €11.30, and the PhD wage is €7.88. How can they pay their rent with such a wage?
A wonderful way to end an intellectually rich day: listening to @MJMaraJosi’s talk about Italian #Holocaust literature for @Guido_Furci's online seminar series. Her book “Rome, 16 October 1943. History, Memory, Literature” will be out with #Legenda @MHRABooks in July 2023!
